Royal Wedding Cake
Made by a woman in Fleckney, the village down the road from home,
where Debbie & Holly live! Yay!
It looks too pretty to eat!
30th April, What a Good Day!
Today has been such a good day! Not only was Skipton lovely, but I found the complete set of Jane Austen books in a charity shop, with amazing cover art, then got them all for £8.50. YES!
And then I went in this little bag and accessories shop and saw the most gorgeous bag, and then Phoebe said that her and Matt owed me a birthday present, so they got it for me.
Following the trip to Skipton with dinner at 'The Fleece' in Otley, which was so good! It was Tapas, but Yorkshire style. So it was like mini fish and chips, and toad in the hole and stuff like that, SO yummy! Washed down with a couple of drinks, and my first Pimms of the year.
All in all, a bloody brilliant day!
Big house and gardens tomorrow, and games night at James and Lou's. Woop!
I'm sorry, I will shut up about the wedding eventually but three things I have to add to the loveliness of it:
That Harry said: "Wait till you see her." While Kate was coming up the aisle.
And that Will said: "You look beautiful." To her when she had arrived at the alter.
Then, while all the things were being read, that they were sat giving each other looks and little smiles. Just so adorable.
I'll let you know when I've thought of something else to going gooey over.

Up in Otley
Up in Leeds, staying in Otley this time, instead of James & Lou's house. Love Matt & Phoebe's little house, its my kind of house down to a tee. The little loft room I'm staying in, I can just see being a beautiful studio room, where I'd put all my art crap. Then there would still be a guest room as well. Its so lovely, a nice, little terrace house.
Going to Skipton tomorrow, should be a good day!
Royal Wedding
Its 8am, I haven't been up this early is ages. Camped out on sofa, waiting for things to sat off! I like that dad's not watching it... but he's got in on upstairs. Hahahaa!!
I think I have actually finished this project, just a few photos to print off at uni and shove in my sketchbook and its actually done!
Now all I need to do is write up my journal and do a final tweak to my found objects project and then I am done for year one. Which is a really scary feeling that a third of university life has passed me by already. Scary, scary times.

Made my day!
Just wandering round the Oadby M&S food, glance up into someone's face, think... I recognise those eyebrows... Think for a second, and its only Toby Flood! Haaa! Its totally made my day. And surprisingly, Mum actually knew who he was when I went and told her. I've been smiling ever since.
Also, bought a Sandra Bullock DVD collection, and my 80s collection arrived in the post when I got home, result!

Easter Goodies!
My little collection of choccie goodies from M&D, as I don't like having large amounts of chocolate. Yummm!
United.
Just finished watching United, which was on BBC1 earlier. It was just stunning, and emotive. I generally can't describe it, so just take my word for it.
