30 Day Book Challenge: Day 6

A book that makes you sad - The Gift - Ceclia Ahern
It was not enough to be the last guy she kissed. I wanted to be the last one she loved. And I knew I wasn’t. I knew it, and I hated her for it. I hated her for not caring about me. I hated her for leaving that night, and I hated myself , too, not only because I let her go but because if I had been enough for her, she wouldn’t have even wanted to leave. She would have just lain with me and talked and cried, and I would have listened and kissed at her tears as they pooled in her eyes.
John Green
26/05/2011 - My Face!
The Flying Scotsman in war time black.
Even though I know nothing about trains, do like going to the National Railway Museum. So much nostalgia, and I love the fonts of the old railways.
Saw this mug in York... Oh so true.

Bunny Salt & Pepper Grinders!

Loved these!
Two words: Almond Latte. Absolutely gorgeous! Just tasted like molten marzipan, and I adore marzipan!
Finally managed to track down a Lilac Pantone mug today! So Happy! Didn't go to Ilkley in the end, ended up at Red Brick Mill, some beautiful interior stuff.
Back home in Kibworth after a beautiful weekend away! Back to halls tomorrow, ready to party at night hopefully!
Last day before home time. Off to Ilkley today! Thats where Duttons For Buttons is!

So need a fry up soon! Nomnomnommm!
Had my first French (?) Macaroon today from Betty's and it was gorgeous!
Feel in love with York all over again today, barely went in any shops as I was just so busy gazing at all the buildings and little streets. Beautiful!

"Life isn't about finding yourself, its about creating yourself."
This book challenge is difficult... I kind of have authors I read, so the collection of books to choose from isn't as big as I'd like it to be.

30 Day Book Challenge: Day 5

A book that makes you happy - Rumour Had It - Jill Mansell
Just love her books, so they might crop up a lot.

Saturday, 28 May 2011

Watching Titanic is actually painful. Looked like everything had happened then found out there is still 45 minutes to go... Ergh.
York tomorrow!! So excited!
Fairy tales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.
G.K. Chesterton
Feel like I'm ready to start learning to drive. An hour in a car show room told me so! Just gotta figure out the time and money to do so! So my head doesn't explode!
My feets are cold! Brrr.

30 Day Book Challenge: Day 4

Your favourite book of your favourite series -
Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire - JK Rowling
I just love the way everything clicks together at the end, its the first time that Voldemort really becomes something to fear.
Been to The Fleece in Otley again for Yorkshie Tapas, SO goood!! Had a whole Camembert cheese melted in the middle as a fondue! So so yummy!
Harrogate and some other place tomorrow! I want to look for a new purse, as mine's doesn't close anymore.

Sat waiting for Mum & Dad to pick me up then get whisked off up to Leeds! Going to York on Sunday, and I am ridiculously excited for it. Going to Railway museum for Dad, but I love looking at all the old signs and prints.
J3 are starting to move out, it's so sad! I'm gonna miss those guys next year!
Now I got my foot through the door, and I ain't going nowhere. It took a while to get me here and I'm gonna take my time.

Night Out Rules: 1

Don't mention food until all dancing and drinking has finished. Or you will just want food all night.
I'm meant to be packing ready to go to Leeds, but I'm kind of just sat browsing in my floor bed.

30 Day Book Challenge: Day 3

Your favourite Series - Harry Potter Books - JK Rowling.
Okay it was pretty obvious what I was gonna say for this day right?
Well I just get completely and utterly lost in these books, to the extent I want to live in them. Even though I've watched the films a million times, whenever I pick up the books, the characters are still the ones I imagined. The books have the little conversations and jokes in between the action which I love. They have things when you think back and notice little clues. I just love them, basically.
