Finished my 10 pages of mark-making and sketching for the summer project! Yay! Feeling like I've actually done something now. I think I'm making a big deal about these presentations, when I don't really need to. Just gonna do it how I want to do it and not worry.
Going round to Ellie's tonight with everyone for a good munch of food. I'm providing the salad hahaa! Very much looking forward to seeing people, and having a good chatter.

Wish Wish Wish

Did go to Ikea yesterday and it was brilliant! Managed to get everything I needed apart from my wicker chair, which I'm sad about, but hopefully they should be back in stock come september. I bought a green circle rug and it looks like theres a ring of grass growing on my floor but I love it! My room is such a mix of colours. Need to try out the curtains I bought, as they've got trees and birds on, need to work out what length to have them. Oh its all very exciting! Also, turned into a total woman and got excited by scented candles... Totally have a thing about smelly candles and incense at the moment. My room next year is gonna smell goooood!

The Lovely Bones
I watched The Lovely Bones tonight, as it was being shown on TV. I really enjoyed it as a film, but I don't really feel it was so good as the book. A lot was missing. But I guess thats how films are, they can't include everything. Even though its a harrowing, and unpleasant story, it does grip you. I generally see the books and the films as separate anyway, so a really good film.
Just finished reading Jill Mansell's To The Moon and Back. Absolutely loved it, hence why I read it in 4 days from day of purchase. Oh Jill, I love your books, they just get me. Now need to read the book I borrow from my Nan, Sophie Kinsella The Wedding Girl. I had started to read it, but I can't seem to get into it... A bit slow maybe. We'll see.

The Harry Potter Challenge: Day 14
Day 14: Pick one... Team Voldemort or Team Harry?
I don't even need to think about this. Its obviously going to be Team Harry.
Art in Action
Had such a brilliant day out in Oxford at Art in Action with the Uni girls! So glad it was a glorious sunny day, wouldn't of been as good other wise. Got some really good ideas from some of the artists exhibiting and demonstrating, so hopefully I won't get stuck on my work so much anymore. Definitely going to have to go next summer. But I want to just get into my project rather than do the processes and materials research, which to be honest still not too sure what I'm meant to do there. Though I'm trying to not to worry about if I'm doing it right or not, as that tends to hold me back. So just going to do it my own way and hope I've covered everything they wanted.
Anyways, I took a few quick snaps while looking round today, so I might put a few up later.
