Jessie Chorley

I discovered this textile artist a while ago, I just love her work. 

It's all stories, fairy tales and quaint. 

These are pieces from the "Once upon a time" range.


These paper hearts are from her: "I Do" range.


However, I was really inspired by her altered journals and albums. So I have decided that over the summer I am going to
use an old book to created my own altered journal.

Words

I'm going to keep track of words I like and their definitions:

intermingle: To mix or become mixed together

scandal:  a widely publicized incident that involves allegations of wrongdoing, disgrace, or moral outrage. A scandal may be based on reality, the product of false allegations, or a mixture of both.

heterosexual: A person who prefers to have sexual and emotional relationship with members of the opposite gender.

Confidence - assurance: freedom from doubt; belief in yourself and your abilities

This something I feel I'm growing in, and about time too. I'm fed up of standing back and watching, and waiting. Time to step forward.

But have a feeling something is going to come along and shatter it.

Well it can try, but it will fail.

Leavers Dinner 2009

Last night was the RSS leavers' dinner at Shearsby Bath.

It was an ACE night, and everyone looked STUNNING!
