"It’s about the fear embedded in people when it comes to ‘love’. People are so afraid to try but nothing will ever work out if you see every negative thing every 10 miles down the road. Good things aren’t handed to you, good things take effort and requires time. And it isn’t about seeing people as they are in the beginning— it’s about the process of unraveling that makes everyone a little more or less lovable for every individual. It isn’t about perfection, it’s the idiosyncrasies that provides the gap between the one you fall in love with and the ones you just don’t. It is about the way she nags at you all the time and the way he curses at the television screen while playing video games. It’s the way he farts on you and the way she holds her laughter that none of your friends like, but hey, you do. It is all of the little idiosyncrasies that only you know about that makes them your lover. And the way they know all of your peccadilloes, too. People call these things imperfections, but they’re not. They’re the good stuff."
