I dyed my hair blonder, finally! Love it.

Every Breath You Take- Scala

This is so beautiful to listen to.

Saturday 18 September 2010

I'm determined not to take two cars worth of stuff to uni. It WILL fit into one car... possibly, maybe...

Lovely Things.

It's been another friend's birthday, so I've posted the creation on LOVELY THINGS.

Have a look see.

Bracelets.

I've decided I'm going to wear bracelets that remind me of friends. Liz got me the feather one as a going to uni present, and the other is from Claire when she went trekking around Vietnam.
I also wear my pandora and pearl bracelet all the time too. Collecting starts now!
I don't have the internet at the moment, so I can barely blog at all, and it makes me sad.
I've been forced into doing work for something to do!
1 week until uni though! EXCITEMENT!!!

Monday 6 September 2010

Today, I made biscuits.

Filled the biscuit tin.

Sunday 5 September 2010

Mmmmmm duck scarf!
Busy being grumpy about missing camping because my body has decided to attack me with dizziness and sickiness. Sucks. The sofa is my new friend.
I'm in a backless dress on a pastel ward thats shining, think I want you still but it may be pills at work.

Saturday 4 September 2010

Today, we went to Ikea and got all my stuff ready for going into halls in 3 weeks time! I'm so excited, even if I do feel ill.
I've started yet another playlist on itunes for beautiful songs... its going to be quite hard for songs to make this list, theres only 12 at the moment.

Goldfrapp - A&E

I've fallen back in love with this song today.

The Bucket List

I finally got round to watching "The Bucket List" and I thought it was really good basically. Made me cry, and life isn't over until its over.

“‘This… stuff’? Oh. Okay. I see. You think this has nothing to do with you. You go to your closet and you select… I don’t know… that lumpy blue sweater, for instance because you’re trying to tell the world that you take yourself too seriously to care about what you put on your back. But what you don’t know is that that sweater is not just blue, it’s not turquoise. It’s not lapis. It’s actually cerulean. And you’re also blithely unaware of the fact that in 2002, Oscar de la Renta did a collection of cerulean gowns. And then I think it was Yves Saint Laurent… wasn’t it who showed cerulean military jackets? I think we need a jacket here. And then cerulean quickly showed up in the collections of eight different designers. And then it, uh, filtered down through the department stores and then trickled on down into some tragic Casual Corner where you, no doubt, fished it out of some clearance bin. However, that blue represents millions of dollars and countless jobs and it’s sort of comical how you think that you’ve made a choice that exempts you from the fashion industry when, in fact, you’re wearing the sweater that was selected for you by the people in this room from a pile of stuff”

The other family I baby-sit for has got a little westie puppy as well! He's called Polo and is absolutely adorable and so quiet! So sweet. He's been following me around all night.

Lovely Things

I've been sewing again, and posted it on LOVELY THINGS.

Hope you like it.
