Really disastrous start to a new week, all the brilliant, thought to be sorted out plans next year just completely messed up again. I feel useless.

But I did do pretty much all my christmas wrapping, and listened to christmas songs and watched a Muppet's christmas movie.

And watched Yes Man, which is such a good film!

After a really crap start to the week, its finished with brilliance!! Possibly house for next year, fabulous house mates, and amazing fancy dress night out. Not to mention the information people tell me that just makes me howl with laughter. Oh, and it snowed and the canal froze over! Some confused looking ducks for a bit.

Next 2 weeks are busy busy, however two brilliant weekends in the middle and at the end.

Did weaving on a proper loom today, and I really enjoyed it, so relaxing. Really worried that I've only got 2 weeks left on this project, going to have to focus on stuff I do a lot in and fall back on textiles a lot on this one, which I love so not complaining!

Been busy making presents again, as its a lot of birthdays month.

Busy coming up with ideas for christmas, as its gotta be cheap this year. But I love making things for people, makes it more individual. So looking forward to it though, we're gonna have a busy house, which is what Christmas is about I think.

Today, We Remember...

The 11th Hour, of the 11th Day, of the 11th Month.

I can't get into writing journals as part of a course... it just sounds like the diaries I wrote when I was a ten year old. Not really an in depth, artistic account.

You can't really flick through my sketchbook, its too much of a fatso.

Being at home is nice. We went to a chairty firework display and it was brilliant!! I love fireworks and autumn. Missing Liz's bonfire parties every year though. Tonight was fireworks and chips. Simple, yet beaut.

Budgeting is bloody difficult.

7 Weeks at Uni...

Been at Uni for 7 weeks now, and I think I've finally settled in. First few week I was terrified I'd chosen the wrong course, felt completely weird from not being at home and around new people. But now I am loving Design Crafts, now the good inductions are getting to my group, I still adore jewellery and hot glass, they make me so happy. And I still get a buzz from doing sketchbooks.

First assessment next week, so got this weekend to finish stuff off.

Old friends and new friends around, and my flat mates make me laugh. I miss everyone thats away at different unis though, and money doesn't stretch as far as I'd like.
