Washi iTape!

Been wanting some washi tape for ages, found a fab website with a really good collection of colours and prints. Very happy with my selection!

Re-vamp

As I now have some spare time while I'm applying for jobs and things, and I am aiming to give LOVELY a bit of a freshen up and get back to blogging more regularly! 

Prints! Prints Everywhere!

Lately I seem to be drawn to prints a lot more than usual. Maybe it's due to having done an entire year's project at university based on creating my own prints, who knows! Whatever the reason, I'm not complaining! As it lead me to purchase this beautiful floral jacket at a bargain half price, was dead chuffed!

Not only the jacket but it also lead me to buy some bold, printed trousers, which for me must be the most daring fashion choice I have ever made. But what can I say? Just in love.

End of an era

That's it, the adult world has pulled into the station. Last weekend I moved out of my student house, Rosslyn, back into Birdie Close. Which I can tell you, was an epic task. Reinstalling myself & all my worldly bits and bobs.

However, after a two days of sorting, cleaning & organising I am successfully living in Birdie Close and I'm enjoying it. Only thing I miss is just being able to wander into town to get whatever I need or more correctly desire... But maybe my pocket might survive a bit more this way! Possibly. 

Anyway, I have set up a little studio space for myself in the spare room which I'm very chuffed with, and I'm excited to get some ideas rolling!

The End

So on Wednesday 15th May, I handed in all my final pieces of work & set up my degree show. I've finished my degree, 4 years at De Montfort university done & an overall 18 years of education.

It's a very bizarre feeling.
