10 years ago today, 2 terrorist planes crashed into the twin towers.
I was 10. I remember being at school knowing something had happened, but not really knowing what, until I got picked up and heard something on the radio in the car. Then getting home and finding my brother just sat watching it break of the TV, just not moving from the sofa.
I'm lucky, I didn't loose anyone that day. But plenty of people did, thoughts are with them as they remember this anniversary of a disaster that knocked the world. Also honours to the brave rescue services, that helped a lot of people escape the tumbling towers.
