A2 Textiles Coursework: Natural Forms: Hat

For part of my A2 textiles coursework I had to create a hat based around natural forms.
I decided to focus around the forms of fungi,
attached to the basic shape of an old fashioned bonnet.

Fungi: Molds, mildews, yeasts, mushrooms, and puffballs, a group of organisms lacking in chlorophyll (ie are not photosynthetic) and which are usually non-mobile, filamentous, and multicellular. Some grow in soil, others attach themselves to decaying trees and other plants whence they obtain nutrients.
